How to order your visa for Nigeria?

Nationals of the following countries are exempt from visa for Nigeria: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Ivory Coast, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea Conakry, Guinea Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Togo. Cameroonians and Chadians and other countries with which Nigeria has entered into visa abolition/waiver agreements.
 
Nationals of other countries holding a diplomatic passport or a service passport can apply for a visa on arrival. For this, they must present a mission order and have a return ticket.

Documents to be submitted when applying for an entry visa for Nigeria

2) One (1) air ticket to and from the final destination of the trip or flight reservation;
3) One (1) international immunization card showing administration of a valid yellow fever vaccine;
4) Two (2) color biometric photos of recent identity, 4.5 x 3.5 cm (no photocopies or scanned photos);
5) two (2) duly completed visa application forms (downloadable);
6) For children, also enclose a photocopy of the birth certificate, a signed power of attorney from both parents and a photocopy of the parents' passports or identity cards.

7) Evidence of Sufficient funds

Tourist visa

1) One (1) passport or other travel document with a validity of at least six (06) months from the date of departure;
2) One (1) air ticket to and from the final destination of the trip or flight reservation;
3) One (1) international immunization card showing administration of a valid yellow fever vaccine;
4) Two (2) color biometric photos of recent identity, 4.5 x 3.5 cm (no photocopies or scanned photos);
5) two (2) duly completed visa application forms (downloadable);
6) One (1) hotel reservation signed by a manager of hotel operations or one (1) accommodation certificate certified by the municipality of the receiving location;
7) One (1) proof of a repatriation guarantee (certificate from an insurance company or other approved organization);
8) One (1) proof of subsistence (recent bank statement);
9) For children, also enclose a photocopy of the birth certificate, a signed power of attorney from both parents and a photocopy of the parents' passports or identity cards.

Family visit visa

1) One (1) passport or other travel document with a validity of at least six (06) months from the date of departure;
2) One (1) air ticket to and from the final destination of the trip or flight reservation;
3) One (1) international immunization card showing administration of a valid yellow fever vaccine;
4) Two (2) color biometric photos of recent identity, 4.5 x 3.5 cm (no photocopies or scanned photos);

6) One (1) Legalized Invitation to Nigeria/or Legalized Accommodation Certificate;
7) In the case of children, also enclose a photocopy of the birth certificate, a signed power of attorney from both parents and a photocopy of the passports or identity cards of the parents;

Business visa

1) One (1) passport or any other travel document with a validity of at least six (06) months from the date of departure;
2) One (1) air ticket to and from final destination of travel, or flight reservation;
3) One (1) international vaccination card with proof of administration of a valid yellow fever vaccine;
4) Two (2) biometric photos of recent identity in color, format 4.5 x 3.5cm (no photocopies or scanned photos);
5) Two (2) duly completed visa application forms (to be downloaded);
6) One (1) hotel reservation signed by a manager of the hotel establishment or one (1) certificate of accommodation legalized with the municipal administration of the place of reception;
7) One (1) proof of a repatriation guarantee (certificate from an insurance company or any other approved organization);
8) One (1) proof of means of subsistence (recent bank certificate);
9) One (1) mission letter from the company signed and stamped mentioning the reason and the dates of the stay. Likewise, the full contact details of the partner in Nigeria. However, it must mention the accommodation as well as any support for living expenses, and the repatriation of the expatriate.
10) One (1) work contract duly endorsed by the Minister of Labor for foreigners coming to work in Nigeria;
11) One (1) authorization to practice for the liberal professions or to promote an activity, issued by the Competent Authorities when required;

12) One (1) internship authorization issued by the sending institution and a duly legalized letter from the host institution, for interns;
13) One (1) partnership contract or any other duly legalized substitute document for business partners;
14) For children, also attach a photocopy of the birth certificate, a signed authorization from both parents and a photocopy of the parents' passports or identity cards.
