Legalization of deeds and documents
Legalization is the confirmation of the authenticity of a foreign document by the consular officer of the state in which the document is to be used. For documents from many states, mutual legalization is not required due to international treaties, or it is replaced by the "Hague Apostille". The "Hague Apostille" is - just like the legalization - the confirmation of the authenticity of a document.
A legalization (notarization) or an apostille depends on which country you want to use the document issued in the country of origin.
